Auction Frequency

We aim to hold six auctions a year and we generally have 8-20 lots. This ensures each lot and the auction has plenty of care and professional time spent upon it to achieve a sale and to maximise the price. Some of our competitors have auction listings which are far too large and the client becomes a number.

As a Buyer you might prefer the certainty of buying prior to auction. Please bid.


Our standard fee is 2.25% of the sale price achieved plus VAT. We do NOT charge a catalogue entry fee but we do charge a withdrawal fee in the event the property is not ultimately sold by this firm during the period of our instruction. Our standard withdrawal fee is


We accept auction instructions only on the basis that we have the sole selling right from the moment of instruction until a period of three months after the auction date. In our opinion you can not conduct an auction on any other basis (but we are always happy to listen). This means that if the property is sold in this period or a purchaser is introduced we will be paid on the agreed basis.
