A few years ago we made the decision to open all of our town offices sales department till 4pm on Saturday’s. In many parts of the country opening Saturday afternoon is the norm. However, over in Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and Lowestoft most estate agents had reduced their Saturday hours to 9am to 1pm after the recession of the 1990’s and never extended them again. The extra capacity these opening hours have given us for viewings and engaging with customers has had a great effect on business. Saturday just gone being a prime example! We have a property on the market on a multi agency basis. By being the only agent here Saturday afternoon we made a viewing, took the offer and tied up the sale all while our competitors were shut. Thus giving us a valuable sale and a just as valuable happy customer!
