Shocking research has revealed that in some areas first time buyers would have to save for 10 and a half years to put together a 15% deposit. The good news is that with house prices being below average over here in the Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft areas it shouldn’t take that long. With properties in good condition available for less than £100,000 and with 95% mortgages available home ownership is a far more realistic aim for young people in North Suffolk and East Norfolk. Coupled with an improving local economy and transport links we hope to help many more first time buyers purchase their first homes over the next few months.
