It is that time of year again! The chancellor will stand up Wednesday lunchtime and outline his spending and taxation plans for the next 12 months. From a property point of view there are strong rumours regarding possible changes to stamp duty. Admittedly a lot of this talk was when the former chancellor was in position, however, it will be interesting to see what (if any) changes will be made. Watch this space!

First of all it is important to state that we do not insist that any of our vendors have for sale boards. However, they are certainly beneficial to the marketing of a property and will in nearly all instances drive interest. Boards are great for ‘word of mouth’ marketing. Often people living on your road will have friends who have mentioned they would like to move to your area. These buyers may not be actively looking but the board will stimulate their interest. Also many buyers still drive around areas checking out properties that are for sale and seeing where they would want to move to. Having a board will draw instant attention to your property. Having a board also tells your prospective buyer that you are motivated and keen to move helping to assure them you are committed to the sale. It is important that you give your property the best chance to sell while achieving the best price. For sale boards are an important part of the marketing of your home.
